No I'm not French.  In fact, my French language knowledge is purely tourist level conversational... but I do love to give language and cultural immersion a go wherever I travel.

 

The travel bug has bitten my whole family from when I was very young.  I remember my parents travelling to Europe when I was five (5) years old, and begging them to see their photos and here their travel tales over and over again.

When I left school, I joined the travel industry and it was not long before I was introduced to Royal Caribbean. I was19 years old and travelling the country calling in on travel agents to build awareness of the brand Down Under. 

 

My first cruise was onboard Royal Caribbean's Sun Viking.  It was one of the oldest of the fleet but the 7 night Southern Caribbean itinerary had this young Aussie enraptured. 

 

My very first port of call was Bridgetown, Barbados and I can still remember it today!
